I CAN'T LOGIN TO THE MICROSOFT 365 WEBSITE. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?

Microsoft 365 is currently only available to EVSC High school students (Grades 9-12). If you are a high school student and are unable to login to the Microsoft 365 website, please use the form below to send a Webdesk ticket to Support.

EVSC Email / Gmail FAQs

I CAN'T SEND OR RECEIVE EMAIL FROM ANYONE EXCEPT PEOPLE THAT HAVE AN EVSC EMAIL ADDRESS. WHY IS THAT?

In accordance with COPPA, the EVSC has set limits for students in grades K-8 to only be able to send and receive emails from evsck12.com and other trusted domains. Students in grades 9-12 are able to send emails to additional domains.

WHY CAN'T I LOG INTO WEBEX?

Currently EVSC students do not have Webex accounts. To join a Webex, join as a GUEST.

WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE WEBEX WORK BETTER?

Download the Webex Meetings app for your device.
Close applications on your device that you don't need running.
Get closer to your Internet WiFi if possible.
Check out these great tips to improve video and audio quality during a Webex.
If you have done all of these, contact Support by filling out a Webdesk ticket.

Google Meet FAQs

I AM HAVING TROUBLE CONNECTING TO A GOOGLE MEET OR I KEEP GETTING DROPPED FROM GOOGLE MEETS. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS?

Make sure all other streaming services are not being used, examples would be Netflix, streaming music, some cable services, etc).
Close all non-needed tabs on the devices and if possible reduce the number of people on Meets at the same time.
Turn off the camera.
Make sure the camera resolution is set to default (in the settings in Meet, click on the three dots).
Choose another option under ‘Receive Resolution’ in settings
Turn off any extensions.

MY TEACHER IS SHARING A JAMBOARD TO GOOGLE MEET AND I'M USING AN IPAD. THE IPAD WON'T INSTALL THE APP WHEN I TAP THE "GET" BUTTON. WHAT DO I DO?

Students using an EVSC iPad need to go to the Student App Portal app (purple app that looks like a book) to install the Jamboard app.

Only authors who create posts on the website have the ability to login to the website.

CAN I POST CONTENT TO THE WEBSITE?

The content on the EVSC Student website is written for the benefit of the students, parents, and staff of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. At this time, we are not interested in content from outside sources.

I HAVE WEAK OR NO WI-FI AT HOME. DOES THE EVSC HAVE ANY RESOURCES TO HELP?

Please contact your school to see if they are able to offer any assistance.
The EVSC also has a website that parents & students can use to find FREE Wi-Fi in the city of Evansville. The website will locate your current location using GPS on your device and show you the closest Wi-Fi location. Please visit https://evscstudentwifi.com.

HOW DO I CONNECT TO THE EVSC WI-FI?

Simply connect your device to the "EVSC-BYOD" or "EVSC-GUEST" network. You will need to login to the Wi-Fi using an EVSC Google account.

WHEN I BOOT MY CHROMEBOOK, IT COMES UP TO AN "ENTERPRISE LOGIN" PAGE. NOW WHAT?

The device has reset itself and has wiped all the info on the Chromebook. It will auto enroll itself once you put it on WiFi.

I CAN LOG INTO MY CHROMEBOOK, BUT THEN I CAN'T BROWSE ANYWHERE.

Check your network connection in the lower right corner. Click on the WiFi icon , then check to see that you are really connected to a valid network.

Apple iPad FAQs

I AM MISSING AN APP ON MY IPAD. HOW DO I GET IT BACK?

Some apps on EVSC iPads are preinstalled and others are available for download via the Student App Portal app (purple app that looks like a book). If you can't find the missing app listed in the Student App Portal, you will need to restart your iPad to force the iPad to reinstall the app. Before restarting the iPad, make sure the iPad is connected to the Internet. If the app fails to reinstall after a couple of tries, please submit a Webdesk ticket using the form below.

PowerSchool Parent & Student Access Support

Parents can sign reset their password on the Parent/Student Portal website.
EVSC staff that are parents can access the Parent/Student Portal by using Incognito mode in their browser OR by using a different browser than they use to access PowerSchool for work.
Students can sign into the Parent/Student Portal by using the "Student Sign In" button on the website or mobile app using their EVSC Google account.
If any parent or student needs support with PowerSchool, they need to contact their school.
