Here’s how to connect your phone or personal device to the school wireless
The school wireless network has been designed to allow for all EVSC students and staff to connect their personal devices to the Internet. Here are directions on how to get connected.
DIRECTIONS
- Simply attach to the “EVSC-BYOD” or “EVSC-GUEST” wireless network.
- Use your Google login credentials to connect to the network. (see below)
- USERNAME: firstname.lastname@evsck12.com
- PASSWORD: same password as your computer
- If you change your password at some point during the school year, you will need to follow these steps again and use your new password.
Students and Staff can stay connected to EVSC-BYOD for up to 90 days before needing to log back in again.
Users that use EVSC-GUEST will need to log back in after 24 hours.
i gotta iphone 6 and it won’t connect
The information on this page has been updated to share about the BYOD network.
I asked the our Tech person and he said that my phone is blocked from it for good, so it there no other way I can use the wifi?
Please talk to your building principal or counselor to see if there is a reason why your phone is being blocked.
when i log on it says password
Please take the device to the tech in your building.
If you’re blocked, is there a certain time period you need to wait out until you can reconnect to the EVSC-Secure network, or are you blocked indefinitely?
No. You need to go talk to the tech in your building to get your device on the wifi.
how come you cant use apps that need wifi to work?
Not all apps are guaranteed to work on our Internet. If the app is of educational use and is not working, let the tech know in your building and they’ll check into it.
